This group of records of Officers returns, lists and a pay list are dated from Oct 1813 to June 1816. A number of the lists are very similar so have been combined with a few notes to indicate where they differ. List #3 below states that Asa Burnham died 10 March 1813. A number of promotions are evident during the period, especially between 1813 and 1816.

2. I, John Peters, Lieut Colonel, Commanding the 1st Regiment of Northumberland Militia, do acknowledge to have verified the following Sums, being the Nett Pay of the undermentioned Officers on Duty, under my command, from the 6th to the 18th October 1813 inclusive

1. This note is on the 24 Mar 1813 list: "Captain Asa Burnham died the 10th instant, to fill the vacancy, I beg leave to recommend for his Honor the Presidents approbation Lieutenant Roger Woolcut, to be Captain, Ensign Saunders Hodges, to be Lieutenant and Mr Samuel Brock to be Ensign. [signed] Jno Peters Lt Col."

2. * These men were recommended for promotion to the rank as listed by Lt. Col. Peters on 24 Dec 1813. There is a continuous note saying these promotions not in the Militia General Orders from the "President" and not commissioned by Dec 1813, March 1814, 24 June 1814, 24 Sep 1814, 24 Dec 1814. The men however continue in their recommended rank.

3. On the 24 Sep 1814 list Lt Col Peters recommends Adam H Meyers to Lieut in place of Lt James Norris who has left the province and Mr Samuel S McKenney to be Ensign and Adjutant. Not commissioned by 24 Dec 1814 and not shown in their new recommended rank.
