Born 7/29/1873, Van Wert, Ohio. Age 26, single. Formerly employed 7 years as bridge carpenter, C&E under W.O. Eggleston. Nov. 6, 1896, employed in Bridge Department. Enters service as brakeman, Chicago Division, Feb. 5th, 1900. In case of injury, notify L(?).P. Dunathan, father, 146 Oak Street, Huntington, Ind.

His attention called particularly to Rules 202 to 208 and 228, Feb. 5th, 1900. Discharged to reduce the force, March 16th, 1900. Reinstated as freight brakeman, Chicago Division, Sept. 22, 1901, File 5730. Resigned on Sept. 29th, 1902. Reemployed August 6, 1903 as brakeman. Promoted Feb. 13, 1905 to Extra Passenger Brakeman.
