Age 28, single, residence Nashport, OH. In case of injury notify John McLaughlin, same place. Formerly with Big Four as brakeman. Recommended by C.S. Rhodes. Entered service of the C&E as fireman, Dec. 6th, transferred to Transortation Department Dec. 23rd, 1890 as brakeman.

Suspended 20 days Feb. 22, 1892 for not flagging No. 14 just west of Huntington Yard, Feb. 17, 1892. Suspended 7 days for not removing car repairers' flag after placing cars ahead of same at North Judson, April 24th, 1893. Suspended 7 days for allowing his engine to back through switch at Griffith on 2nd 85, February 8, 1896 when doing switching there.

Resigned March 23rd, 1896.
