      9. Annie May Fowkes [1907 Butchers Lane, Cradley WOR -] married 2nd qtr 1930 Stourbridge RD Wilfred Westwood
That 2 Fowkes sisters married Westwoods makes it difficult to disentangle the families.
Horace, Richard, and Brian Westwood, listed above as sons of Alice and James Westwood, might equally be sons of Annie and Wilfred.
          More research is needed

The Vicar of Cradley's Notebooks: suggest that Rhoda Fowkes also had twins born in April 1863, who died in infancy.

§ Daniel Homer joined the army (4th Royal Lancashire Militia) and was stationed at Orford Military Barracks, Warrington, at the time of the 1881 census (RG11/3798 f93 p29). Elizabeth was living at home with her parents. On leaving the army, Daniel went to County Durham, where he was lodging at the time of the 1891 census (23 South Tenn Court, Tudhoe: RG12/4101 f38 p18), listed as a widower, despite the fact that Elizabeth was living in Stourbridge Union Workhouse, listed as single. He married Martha Horman in a civil ceremony at Durham Registry Office in 1st qtr 1892. There is a death index entry for an Elizabeth Homer in Dudley, 1st qtr 1901, of the right age, suggesting that Daniel committed bigamy. Shelia Wilson, a great-granddaughter of Daniel, has done much research on his family.
