Reginald West, In the reign of Henry 6th, Reginald, the 6th Baron, made two pilgrimages to the Holy Land. He was twice married: first to Magaret Thorley who died in 1433 and to Elizabeth Greyndour, the daughter of Henry, Earl of Northumberland. He resided at Bourn Hall: The mansion's carved stone mantelpieces, rich wood paneling and crystal chandeliers give it an air of grandeur, a reflection of the days when it was the seat of the Earl De La Warr. The verdant meadows of Cambridgeshire lie serenely in the distance. Is now serving as a fertilization clinic in England. Reginald, Lord De La Warr, his second brother. He was twice married: 1st to Margaret Thorley who died In 1433; 2d to Eleanor, the daughter of Henry Percy, Earl of Northumberland. He was the father of: 1. Richard West; 2. John West, who married Agnes Iveson and had children; 3. Margaret West, who married Sir Thomas Erpingham of Sussex; 4. Anne West, who married Sir Thomas Berkeley of Gloucestershire, whose descendant, John Berkeley, came to Virginia in 1620; 5. Mary West, who married Roger Leuknore of Sussex; and 6. Catherine West, who married Roger, Lord Hungerford. The eldest son succeeded to the title on the death of his father, Aug, 27, 1451.
