Samuel Utley born 1615 Thorne, West Riding, Yorkshire, England died before 3 June 1662 Scituate, Plymouth, MA son of William Utley married 6 Dec 1658 Hannah Hatch bapt 14 June 1646 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA daughter of Thomas Hatch and Lydia Gyles. Samuel Utley was a merchant, farmer and road surveyor who emigrated from England via Liverpool in 1643. He settled in Scituate, MA where he was granted a freeman in 1647 and was a ruling elder in the Second Church of Scituate. Samuel and Hannah had, Lydia, and Samuel. Admin. of his estate was granted 3 June 1662 to his widow. Their daughter
