Welcome to the Brown Family Pages. As with most genealogy research, this is nowhere complete. I wish it were! There is still much to be learned about Thomas Brown and his ancestry. Most agree that he (probably) and his parents were born in England. Thomas is found in several genealogy sites where his birth circumstances and the names of his parents are given, but, alas, without source information. The Brown connection in Delaware County, Indiana starts with David Brown #45 in the Third Generation and his family in the Fourth Generation. More (later) generations could be added but then I'd have to make them all private, and I really don't want to do that. 1. Thomas BROWN was born in 1691 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England?.1 He died in 1750 in Frederick Co, Virginia.2 He was Society of Friends Lifetime.3
He was married to Ruth LARGE in 1723 in Buckingham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.4 Ruth LARGE was born about 1700.5 She died on 22 May 1763 in New Garden, Rowan (later Guilford) County, North Carolina.6 She was Society of Friends Lifetime.3 Thomas BROWN and Ruth LARGE had the following children:
