Notes for John Case Sr.
May have been the “Mr. Casse”, age 19, who immigrate aboard the Dorset in 1635 to Newport from Gravesend, England. That may also have ben William Cass of Newport, RI.

The first mention of his presence in the colonies is February 1640, when six parcels of land near Hartford were conveyed by John Case to William Gibbines.

He was married to Sarah Spencer before 17 Aug 1656, when he mentioned her in a power of attorney. He was living in Mashpath Killes, New Netherlands at the time.
