Dropped Dead Another Old Citizen Gone (Cole CO Democrat, Feb 28, 1907)
Mr William K Clatterbuck expired suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jeff Rose at 110 East High St at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the age of 76 years.
Mr Clatterbuck was one of the oldest citizens of Cole County and had lived in this city for a great many years. His death removes another of the old land marks from our citizenship.
The deceased seemed to be in good health the day before his death, and although he was not feeling as well as usual Saturday morning, nothing serious was thought to be the matter, and he expired almost without warning. He died in the arms of his daughter, Mrs. Rose. Besides his daughter, he leaves by one other child, a son, Mr. Tom Clatterbuck.
The funeral arrangements have not been announced, but it is expected that the funeral will occur at the Christian Church Monday.
