Susannah Ross, daughter of John and Charlotte Ross, was born 14 May 1798 in York County, Pennsylvania. She married Miles Tipton. She died 31 August 1889. Miles Tipton was born in 30January 1809 in Westmoreland County, PA, and died 3 May 1876 at Perry Twp., Carroll County, Ohio.. He is buried in Perrysville U B Cemetery, Perry Twp., Carroll County, Ohio..
Miles Tipton and Susannah Ross had four children:
