This Indenture made the Tenth day of July in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty four Between John White of the County of Amelia of the one part and Isham Clements of the same County of the other part Witnesseth that the said John White for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred and Seventy five pounds Current money of Virginia to him in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained Sold released and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Isham Clements his heirs and assigns for ever one Certain Tract of Land Containing one hundred and forty four Acres be the same more or less and bounded as followeth, to wit, begining at a Corner of John Tabbs Land and joining the land of Edmund Clement Infant, thence along the said Infants new line to the above named Isham Clement line thence to the land of Henry Cox Junr. thence along the said Coxes line to the lands belonging to the above named Isham Clement and Henry Cox Junr. whereon is a mill known by the name of Clements mill thence to John Tabbs line thence along the said Tabbs line to the begining To have and to hold the said land and premises with their appurtenances unto the said Isham Clements his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Isham Clements his heirs and assigns forever and the said John White for him and his heirs the said land and premises against him and his heirs and all persons whatsoever Claiming from by or under him them or any of them to the said Isham Clement his heirs and assigns shall and will warrant & forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said John White hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the day and year above written

Memorandum that on the tenth day of July one thousand seven hundred and eighty four Livery and Seizen of the within mentioned land and premises was acknowledged to be made from John White to the within named Isham Clement

The Indenture with memorandum & receipt Indorsed was acknowledged by John White the party thereto and ordered to be Recorded Ann the wife of the said White privily Exd. relinquished her right of dower
