Kivetts in America In the beginning: Generation I, the first chapter of this "e-book," establishes what we now know of the origins of Peter Kivett, our first Kivett in America. Generation II, the second chapter, outlines the families of Peter's four sons and four daughters. Generation III, the third chapter, attempts to untangle Peter's many grandchildren. Merry Widows, the "appendix," elaborates on the census work done to establish the families represented by the Kivett widows. And finally, the index of surnames, in this case the "begats," is devoted to a full listing of the surnames in the database linked to family group sheets for each person.
