Florence was born June 20, 1944 in Millville, was raised in Leesburg and most recently resided in Erma for the past 25 years. Florence worked for Keene's Kitchen in North Cape May, Menz's Restaurant in Rio Grande and recently in the kitchen at the Cape May County Correctional Center until it was privatized with Crest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she helped provide meals for both facilities. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends barbequing, sitting around the kitchen table and crafting her wooden yard art. Florence is predeceased by her parents Rolland Hoffman and Rachelle Hoffman (nee Pettit); her sister Rachelle Hoffman; three brothers Warren, Wayne and Robert Hoffman. She is survived by her Partner of 25 years Cheryl J. Mason of Erma. Children - Cheryl A., Tabetha L., and Allen C. Mason. Six grandchildren, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday (July 21) in the Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May where there will be a visitation from 10-11am Monday. Interment will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Lower Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Florence's memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
