Burial followed at the Pine Forest Cemetery with Rick Bratcher, Todd Brigance, Bryan Connally, Josh Huber Connally, James Hodges and Cory Connally serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Bynum died Sunday October 9, 2005, at her residence. She was born on June 17, 1929, in Bonham, TX the daughter of Dewitt Talmadge and Annie Monk Minter Thurman. She married William Edwin Bynum on March 17, 1957. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Bynum was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pine Forest United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Doug Connally and Linda of Garland; three daughters, Carletta "Corkey" Brigance and Bob of Richardson, Randy Bynum and Eric Brown of Springtown, Binky Hodges and James of Pine Forest; one sister, Lucy Massey of Pine Forest, nine grandchildren, Bryan Connally of Rockwall, Josh Connally of McKinney, Corey Connally of Pine Forest, Shay Brown of Naples, Fl, Todd Brigance of Richardson, Rick Bratcher of Bedford, Larissa Hodges of Pine Forest and Shara Brown of Springtown; five great grandchildren, Blaine Brigance of Arlington, Cody Connally of Garland, Kylie Brigance of Richardson, Trey Connally of Garland and Haley Bratcher of Bedford; eight nieces and nephews; fourteen great nieces and nephews; and seven great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Thurman, and two sisters, Billie Bray Thurman and Tose Thurman. Mkemorials may be made to the Salvation Army for Hurricane victims and the American Cancer Society.1 |
