Biography* Obituary:
Archie Travis Culpepper passed away Monday October 9th, 2006, at the age of 70. Archie was born in Stockdale, TX on February 12, 1936, to Gladys Martin Culpepper and Archie Travis Culpepper, Sr. During that year he and his family moved to New Braunfels where he would live the remainder of his life.

In June 1954, Archie took Elizabeth C. John for his wife and they remained united 52 Years until his death. Archie was employed as an educator for Comal ISD for 35 years. While employed by CISD he was well known as "The Voice" of the Canyon Cougars on Friday nights. He also worked in real estate for 30 years enjoying his most recent time with Mickey Ferrell Realtors. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Linda Hoffmann and husband Bryan, son James Culpepper, son Bobby Culpepper, son Craig Culpepper and wife Kimbra. His precious grandchildren, which were so very dear to him, April Hoffmann and fiancé Randy Schumann, Tiffany Parker and husband Ryan, Travis Culpepper, Devin Culpepper, Kayla Culpepper, Benjamin Culpepper and Crystal Culpepper. He is also survived by his beloved sister Barbara Bird and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Archie in death were his beloved parents, and his precious grandson, Christopher Culpepper. It can truly be stated that Archie treasured his wife, children and grandchildren above and beyond any and all things in this world. He departed this world anxious to seek out and serve the Lord God he had believed in and worshipped for a lifetime.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Thursday at the Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until 12:30 p.m. Friday. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home. A mass of celebration will be conducted Friday, October 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Mausoleum. The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the Sts. Peter and Paul Building Fund or Hope Hospice.2
