Unidentified results have been removed from this site. This decision was made after some thought concerning; 1) Some participants desire for absolute privacy. I/we respect that right to privacy. It is the reason the administrator, of the Clan MacMillan study at FTDNA, has cited for not displaying kit numbers on their results page; and 2) Without some information as to the who, where and when of the paternal ancestor associated with the DNA results they are nothing more than a set of numbers. There is no way to determine relevance without this information.

If you are the owner of one of the 14 sets of results that have been removed, or you have new results that you would like added, you may email me. I will need your unique ID number assigned by the testing company (FTDNA calls them kit numbers) and/or a Y-Search ID along with basic information you may have concerning your most distantly known paternal ancestor...name, place of birth and birth date if you know them. I would be glad to discuss with you what is appropriate to post. I do not, and will not, post biographical information concerning possibly living individuals (born after 1900) without their expressed consent.

        ID 20787 A current participant in the Clan MacMillan Study also tested with SMGF and received results for an additional 11 markers not tested by FTDNA.

The Sorenson Molecular Genographic Foundation, SMGF added results to their database. Most significantly, may be the addition of DYS464(a-d). Participants whose results solely came from SMGF can be identified by the S at the beginning of their ID. S0006, in addition to DYS464, had the remaining values posted to give him the full complement of SMGF markers.
