Obituary of Minnie O. McGee Hennessee, date unknown, publisher unknown:
"Long-time resident of the Smyrna community, Minnie O. McGee Hennessee, succumbed to an extended illness Wednesday at River Park Hospital. She was 83 years of age.
A native of Warren County, Mrs. Hennessee was the daughter of the late Edd and Manervia Douglas McGee. She was the widow of John Louy Hennessee, Sr. who preceeded her in death March 14, 1974.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ at Smyrna.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at two in High's Chapel with Terry Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery.
Mrs. Hennessee is survived by one son, J.L.Hennessee,Jr.; two daughters, Virginia Northcutt and Mabel Curtis; one sister, Irene McGee Barnes; four grandchildren, Butch and Steve Northcutt, Sharon Curtis Patrick and Debbie Howard; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
