  Waymon C. Robbins, 81, of Crossville, passed away June 24, 2003. Funeral services were conducted June 26 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Clarkrange Cemetery. Bro. Gary Merryman officiated, with special music by Bobby Jones, Renee Wright, Kim Woodson and Rosie Woodson. A presentation of the flag and "Taps" was performed at Clarkrange Cemetery.
  Mr. Robbins was born Aug. 21, 1921 in Overton County, TN, the son of Will and Sarah Christine Smith Robbins.
  He was a factory worker for Westinghouse and of the Pentecostal faith. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
  Survivors include his daughters, Sarah Merryman of Christianburg, VA, Sharon A. Shelley of Crossville and Robin L. Jones of Elyria, OH; son, Waymon I. "Buddy" Robbins of Crossville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Scroggins Robbins; brothers,
  Herbert, Wilburn and Noble Robbins; and sisters, Ava Robbins, Dollie Threet and Ethel Overstreet.
  Pallbearers were Robert Brown, John Brown, David Robbins, Nathan Brown, Michael Wilson, Bobby Jones, Harold McGuire and Gunter Wilson.
  Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
