    Millard G. Fletcher died at Little Rock, Ark. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, at age 73.

    Born June 8, 1930, in Lake City, Ark. Mr. Fletcher had been a Yolo County resident for 28 years. He was the son of the late Rudy V. and Edith (Scroggins) Fletcher. He also been a resident of Ida, Ark. for 27 years, and established Fletcher's Grocery and Hardware Store. He was a member of Sugar Loaf Masonic Lodge No. 414 and Pleasant Ridge Union Church.

    Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Crites) Fletcher of Ida, Ark; sons, Dale Fletcher of Cabot, Ark., Robert Fletcher of Folsom, Jack Fletcher of Ida, Ark., and Rudy Fletcher of Hot Springs, Ark; daughter, Wendy Fletcher of Bigelow, Ark; brother, Jesse Fletcher of Woodland; sister, Brenda Sue Minatre of Sacramento; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Swayze.

    Arrangements are under the direction of Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. of Arkansas.

    Services: Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 30, at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. of Heber Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Friday, also in Olmstead Chapel with a Masonic service. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Pine Log Cemetery at Brookland, Ark.

    IDA -- Millard G. Fletcher, 73, of Ida died Sunday, Oct. 26, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

    Born in Lake City, he had lived in Ida for 27 years and founded Fletcher's Grocery and Hardware Store. He served on the Cleburne County Hospital Board and the Tumbling Shoals-Ida Volunteer Fire Department Board and helped organize volunteer fire departments in Tumbling Shoals-Ida and Drasco.

    He was a Mason and a member of Sugar Loaf Masonic Lodge No. 414 and Pleasant Ridge Union Church.

    Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Crites Fletcher of Ida; four sons, Dale Fletcher of Cabot, Robert Fletcher of Folsom, Calif., Jack Fletcher of Ida and Rudy Fletcher of Hot Springs; a daughter, Wendy Fletcher of Bigelow; a brother, Jesse Fletcher of Woodland, Calif.; a sister, Brenda Sue Minatre of Sacramento, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy V. and Edith SCROGGINS Fletcher.

    Funeral services with Masonic rites are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.

    Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
