Hannah Kerr Howard

     Hannah Kerr Howard was born on 15 August 1838 at St Martins, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of John Howard Jr and Rachel Campbell Kerr. Hannah Kerr Howard married William Ruddick Floyd, son of Nathaniel Floyd and Alice Bradshaw, on 30 November 1864 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Hannah Kerr was listed as the 5th daughter of John Howard, Esq, and she and William were married by Abel H. Washburn, Hannah's brother-in-law.¹ Hannah Kerr Howard was buried at Brown's Cemetery, Bain's Corner, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.² She died on 16 November 1908 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 70; Hannah had been fighting throat cancer for about two years. She was a resident of Fairfield and a Baptist.^2,3
