Tresa Bagnall, was born 23 December 1848 in Masbro' Common, Kimberworth, Rotherham, daughter of Thomas Bagnall & Sarah nee' Sarbitt. She died in 1883 at the age of 34, in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Tresa was married on 2 September 1866 in St Thomas church, Kimberworth, Rotherham, to Samuel Brown. Samuel was born about 1847 in Alfreton, Derbyshire, son of Thomas Brown. Following the death of Tresa, Samuel Brown re-married to Emma Thomas in 1884. Samuel died at the age of 75, in 1923. His death was registered in Belper, Derbyshire.

John Brown, born about 1871 in Bredbury, Cheshire. Married March quarter 1896 Belper, Derbyshire to Mary Anne Cooke. born about 1871.

William Brown, born about 1877, died October quarter 1924 Belper. Married Sarah Jane Bagnall, born 18 July 1882 (daughter of James and Mary).

Elizabeth Brown, born about 1879 in Alfreton, Derbyshire. In 1901 she is a servant at the Grapes Hotel, Hyde, Cheshire. Elizabeth has not been located after 1901.

Ellen Brown, born 1881 in Alfreton, Derbyshire, died June quarter 1957 Belper. Married John Severn in 1899 Belper.  Children: William Severn born 3 Sept 1899 Alfreton died 1974 Chesterfield. Leonard Severn born 1903 Alfreton. Theresa Ellen Severn born 25 July 1911 Alfreton, died December quarter 1988 Chesterfield.

Reginald Brown, born 1898 Alfreton, Derbyshire, Reginald died of wounds on 29 April 1916, Flanders, Belgium. He is commemorated on the Loos War Memorial.
