[2] | JAMES CARRICO date of birth not known. Inherited by his Father's will a tract of land in Charles Co. Md. (1765) known as "Carrico's Hope" possession to be had at his mothers death. "James Carrico of Peter" died intestate 1803 in Charles. In the administration accounts the name is spelled "Carricoe". The executor was Henry Montgomery. His wife survived but name not mentioned. m.-------- Note: The 11 children of James "Carricoe" Sr. inherited when his estate (dying intestate) was settled in Charles Co, Md. 1803. It was shown that Vincent and Tabitha recieved their portion during the lifetime of their father. |

Co. 1819 & d. 1897, who was father of L.F. Carrico, Kane, Green Co.

1750 in Md. d. Nov 14 1821 in Mass. Came to Boston Mass. from Va.;
removed to Beverly Mass. His Revolutionary War record reads "Alexander
Carrico, alias Andrew served 1776-1780 in Capt. Billy Porter's Co. in
Col. Tuppers Regiment at West Point in 1779. He was committed to Mill
Prison, Eng. 2-6-1782 being of the brig 'Eagle'.
Records of Pension Dept. show he applied for pension in 1818 when 70
yrs. of age, then living at Beverly, Mass. In 1820 his wife was
still living, but the pension records do not show her name. m. 1st Elizabeth FOSTER 8-28-1770 at Beverly. She b. 5-6-1749 dau. of Benjamin & Abigail (Herrick) Foster. She a descendant of George Herrick m. 2d, probably, Miss SEDGWICK, of Virginia. Her descendants are Catholic except where otherwise noted. |
