Rebecca Lathrop was born 25 Nov 1701 in Falmouth, Barnstable, MA. (1) She married Edward Lewis on 14 May 1719 in Barnstable when she was 17. (2) Her husband was 21.  They had three children in Barnstable and then moved to Guilford, CT where she had six more children. Her father, Hope Lathrop, died in 1731 bequeathing her £10 and a fourth of his moveable estate.  Her 10th child was born in Litchfield, CT when she was 45 years old.  She died six months later on 22 Jun 1747.
