     Peter Dalenberg was born circa 1871 possibly in Roseland, Cook County, Illinois.2 He was the son of Pieter Dalenberg and Lijntje Vanderszijde.1 Peter, age 9, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1880 Federal Census in Roseland. He attends school and he is also marked for being "deaf and dumb."2 Follow the link to see the census image. Peter married Swantina VanEss.3 Peter and Swantina may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, George A..
          Peter, age 58, and Swantina, age 55, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at 407 N.E. 30th Street in Miami, Dade County, Florida. Also enumerated in this household was their son, George (his age is illegible).4 Peter worked as a bookkeeper for a sheet metal company.4 Follow the link to see the census image.
