Arigje De Jong was born on 2 November 1849.1 She was the daughter of Jan De Jong and Teuntje Van Vuuren.1 Arigje married Cornelius De Ridder, son of Jan De Ridder and Nellie Aaldijk, on 5 October 1870.1 Cornelius died on 29 August 1919, leaving Arigje a widow.1 Arigje died on 6 August 1940.1 She was 90 old.
