Daniel married Catherine Smock, daughter of Capt. Hendrick Smock and Neeltje Van Dorn, on 13-Oct-1793 at Holmdel, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Daniel married Elizabeth R. Schenck, daughter of Roelof P. Schenck and Elizabeth Gordon, on 9-Jun-1844 at Pleasant Valley, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Capt. Daniel Schenck died on 9-Aug-1845 at Holmdel, Monmouth County, New Jersey, at age 74.
