No marriage found but in was illegal to marry In-Laws at the time, Mary being Jane’s sister, William’s first wife.

Subsequently she had 8 children (at least) with William, they never married because initially it was illegal and after the law changed in 1907 they never bothered - this story from her daughter Dorothy, via her son.
William Robert died 1915 and Mary died in 1919 when all the children except my mother Dorothy went into an orphanage.
I look forward to the 1921 census so I can be certain where she went because what she told the family was that an aunt Sally looked after her but I'm not certain quite who she is. from Peter
