This pillar/ grave marker is in the Artesia Cemetary, Cerritos CA. John & Annaretta are my Great Great Great Grandparents.

This is an inscription on the north side of John and Annareta's Pillar Grave Marker...

NOT DEAD, BUT ASLEEP

Asleep in Jesus
That dear friend,
On whom our happiness
depends.

Farewell Father and Mother farewell
for a while. We soon will meet you
again on that other shore. Where
we will never take the parting
hand anymore. For we hope to
meet you on the other shore.

These two stones were near each other, not far from John and Annareta's Grave... I don't know who they are yet
