BIRT SOUR The date of birth is not known. Some references give conflicting information. Virginia Census of 1790 lists a Philip Webber - not proven this Philip, as 67.
DEAT SOUR Will of Philip Webber February 26, 1796 - June 26, 1797. Will was exhibited in court June 26, 1797. Will Book 3, Page 91. A copy of this will is in my possession (Dick Webber).
Dates listed in Register of Reverend William Douglas. Will of Philip Webber, Cumberland County February 26, 1796 June 26, 1797: To Benjamin - 1 negro boy Charles; to Seth - 1 negro named Isham; to Simeon - 1 negro man Isaac and Absalom; Lent to Ann - 6 negroes and future increase and to her heirs, If none to the heirs of Philip, Seth and Richard. The balance divided among the four, Richard and Philip having received their legacies and being excluded.

Local notices from the Virginia Gazette, June 7, 1780: "Philip Webber advertises for a pocket book lost on the back road between Tuckahoe and Westham. Contained $600 or $800 and two bonds signed by William Porter and William Ronald of Powhatan County. Return to Webber in Goochland County."
