Notes
The 1910 census shows Mary as the aunt of George C Martin. The note on a photograph of Mary says she came to live with the Martins after George's wife died, and seems to indicate that Mary might have been George's great-aunt. But the ages fit with the idea that she was his aunt, probably the widow of a brother of Phillipena (her death certificate has her husband as Lewis Haubach).
