According to "Notes
on
Names
of Inhabitants of Parish of Kilmichael, Co. Cork, 1766" the Herlihy
family
owned considerable propery up to the time of Cromwell's confiscations. JOHN
O HIERLIGHY of Ballyvourney was amongst the persons outlawed. I
would
like to find some background material on this. Has anyone any
information
on this man or confiscation of Herlihy land. If you can be of help
please
e-mail me.
