Obituary of Jens C. Pederson; published 15 April 1948 in Vinita, OK newspaper;
"Jens C. Pederson, age 84, died at his home, 431 North Smith St, early Monday morning.
He was born in Denmark, and came to the United States when he was 21 years of age. He had lived in Craig county about 25 years. He farmed until four years ago when he moved to Vinita.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Alice M. Pederson of the home; one sister, Mrs Dora Cobb, Albuquerque, NM.
Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Luginbuel chapel with Rev. Dwight R. Hunt, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating.
Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Brothers Funeral Home."
