Grandma Morris was pregnant with Aunt Bonnie when Corrine died. She was so distraught that they were afraid she would lose the baby and she wasn't allowed to go to the funeral.
Verda Corrine Morris was born 9 Jul 1933 in Gravette, Benton Co., AR. She died 16 Feb 1936 in Decatur, Benton Co., AR. Corrine was a beautiful little curly headed blond. It was her sister Elva's job to watch her and see that she was safe. She died at the age of 3 from leukemia and is buried in Decatur, Benton Co., AR.

Verda Corrine Morris was born July 9, 1933 and passed away at 1:45 a. m., February 16, 1936 at the age of 2 years, 7 months and 7 days.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morris who reside about 6 miles north east of Decatur.
A brother, Frank Avery Morris preceded her in death April 30, 1924 at the age of 3 years, 11 months and 15 days.
Besides her parents she leaves six sisters, Jessie, Rhoda, Viola, Lorene, Nora and Elva, and three brothers, Bob, Louis, and Everett, and lots of relatives and friends.
Burial was in the city cemetery Tuesday, the services being conducted by Rev. J. A. Scoggins. 15 16 17

Viola Mae Morris was born 30 Sep 1922 in Cherryvale, Montgomery Co., KS. She was married three times to Jack McArthur, Glen Web and Samuel Jay Hanick. Viola lived in San Francisco, CA most of her life before moving to Scottsdale, AZ to be with her daughter Betty. As a young person she always stayed in the house and helped out while the other children worked in the field. She owned several restaurants in San Francisco and later worked as an Ombudsman for several nursing homes.

Aunt Viola fell and hit her head bringing in the groceries at her daughter's home. She was caring for Betty after Betty had fallen and injured her hip. Aunt Viola had been feeling well, in fact she said that she felt better now than she ever had. Betty took her to the doctor and he said that she was fine, but during the night she passed away in her sleep. 16 25 26
