Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Francis Edward Werkheiser. She
as a certified dental assistant for Dr. Merritt Bixler, Easton, for many years. She was also
employed at Bixler's Jewelry, Easton, until retiring. Born in Bethlehem, she was a
daughter of the late Harry and Lizzie (Sloyer) Siefert. She was a member of St.
Matthew's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. Werkheiser was a past president of the Lady
Kinnaird Club and a life member of the American Dental Association. She was a member
of the Pennsylvania Dental Assistants Association; the Lehigh Valley Dental Assistants

Martin E. Seifert, 77, of 112 E. High St., Hellertown, died Saturday, Nov. 11, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Beatrice S. (Strawn) Seifert. They were married 52 years last month. He was a printer for Christmas City Printing,Bethlehem, for many years. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Harry and Lizzie (Sloyer) Seifert. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown, and its Tuesday Group and dart league. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 45th Infantry Division, the `Thunderbirds,` which participated in the Sicily, Anzio and southern France amphibious landings, the Italian peninsula campaign, and the invasions of France and Germany. He was a board member of the Hellertown Historical Society, and was a past Scout leader for Troop 14 at St. Matthew's Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Wife; sister, Corinne J. Following a six months' illness from complications, Nora M., wife of Lawrence Sloyer, died on Saturday evening, June 15, at her home in Bethlehem, aged 36 years. She was born in Richlandtown, May 13, 1893. Deceased was a daughter of Arbella and the late John Schaffer. Besides the husband she leaves one son, John, and three daughters, Miriam, Grace and Eleanor, also the mother, a sister, Mrs. Irwin Hagen, and there brothers, Calvin, Clark and Harvey Shaffer, all of Richlandtown.

Born in Springfield Township, Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Mabel (Weaver) Riegel.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quakertown.
Survivors: Daughter, Charlene M. Hendricks of Pennsburg; sisters; a grandson, a great-grandson.
