Mr. Henry Ingalls died at his home in Banks last Friday, of consumption, aged 41 years, after havin suffered failing health a long time. During the war he served his country in Co. K, 23rd Infantry, and at the time of hisdeath was a respected member of Baxter Post G. A. R. of this place. He was also one of the pioneers of this region, having lived in Banks nearly twenty years. The funeral services were held at the family residence last Monday, under the auspices of Baxter Post G. A. R.which turned out in a body to their last tribute to their late comrade. The sermon was delivered by Rev. J. T. Iddings, and music was furnished by the Congretational choir, assisted by Mrs. F. J. Meech. On the casket was a handsome silver plate, inscribed with his name, age, company, and regiment.
