Jessie was born at
Henry Co., Indiana, on 21 August 1892. She was the daughter of
John Wesley Gustin and
Sarah Hoppes. She married
Forrest Leland Forney at
Madison Co., Indiana, on 21 February 1913. Jessie Gustin died on 6 September 1984 at

Middletown - Jessie G. Forney, 92, 916 Progress St., Middletown, died Thursday at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Madison County on Aug. 21, 1892, to John Wesley and Sarah Hoppes Gustin. She had attended the Pleasant Valley Christen Church.
Her husband, Forrest Forney, preceded her in death in 1977.
Survivors include a son, Raymond G. Forney of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Hamilton of Middletown, Mrs. Annabelle Smith of Indianapolis; a brother Earl Gustin of Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Bertha McClain of Middletown; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great - great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Ballard and Shirey Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home."
