George Jackson was born on 9 January 1757 at
Cecil Co., Maryland. He was the son of
John Jackson and
Elizabeth Cummins. George Jackson began military service. He married
Elizabeth Brake, daughter of
Johan Jacob Brake and
Maria Elisabetha Kiefer, on 13 November 1776. George Jackson was election between 1786 and 1790 at
Virginia; George served in the Virginia Assembly from 1786 to 1790. He served as a member of the Virginia Constitutional Constitution in 1788. He married

Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio, at age 74.
