(Special to The Gazette)

YORKANA, June 7. - George F. Dellinger, of this place, and Miss Annie E. Leik, of Del Roy, were married last Sunday at the United Evangelical parsonage by Rev. J.H. Welsh. The couple will reside in this vicinity."
Annie was listed as George F. Dellinger's wife on the 1920 Census at Lower Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. Annie Elizabeth Leik died on 13 December 1943 at York Hospital, York, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 79. She was New Tag Obituary from a December 18, 1943 newspaper:

"Mrs. George F. Dellinger

YORKANA, Dec. 18 - Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Leik Dellinger, 76, wife of George F. Dellinger, died this morning at 7:30 o'clock in the York hospital to which she was admitted yesterday. Death was caused by pneumonia. Until five years ago, Mrs. Dellinger was employed as a cigarmaker. She was a member since childhood of the Yorkana Evangelical congregation and Sunday school. She was also a teacher in the Sunday school. The deceased is survived by her husband; a brother, Edward W. Leik, of Yorkana; a sister, Emma J. Leik, 625 McKenzie street, York, and several nieces and nephews. the funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock form the Burg Funeral home, at Red Lion, with services in charge of the Rev. Roy H. Stetler. Interment will be in the local cemetery."

"DELLINGER - On Dec 13, 1943, at 7:30 a.m. at the York hospital, Annie Elizabeth Leik Dellinger, wife of Geo. F. Dellinger and daughter of Henry B. Leik and Caroline Gable Leik, aged 79 years and 17 days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Burg Funeral home, Tuesday afternoon, Dec 21 at 2 p.m. Interment in Yorkana cemetery."

"Mrs. George F. Dellinger

YORKANA, Dec. 21 - Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Leik Dellinger, wife of George F. Dellinger, this place, died Saturday at 7:30 o'clock at the York hospital. Death was caused by pneumonia. She was 76 years old. Mrs. Dellinger, who was a cigarmaker until the past few years and was a life-long member of the local Evangelical congregation and Sunday school, in which she was a teacher, is survived by her husband; a brother, Edward W. Leik, this place; a sister, Emma J. Leik, 625 McKenzie Street, York, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Burg Funeral home, Red Lion. The Rev. Roy H. Stetler will officiate. Interment will be in the local cemetery."

Yorkana - Funeral services for Annie Elizabeth (Leik) Dellinger, wife of George F. Dellinger, Yorkana, who died at the York hospital Saturday, were held yesterday afternoon at the Burg Funeral home, Red Lion. Rev. Roy H. Stetler, assisted by Rev. Glenn T. Hafer, officiated. Pallbearers were Morgan Leik, Charles Leik, Nelson Leik, Edward Leik, harry Why and Henry Emenheiser. Interment was in the Yorkana cemetery."

"Charles Leik

The death of Charles Leik, thirty-one years old, occured at his home409 Wallace street, Friday at 12 o'clock noon following a sickness of several months of tuberculesis. Mr. Leik was formerly of Yorkana, having made his home in York for the last two years. He leaves his wife and one son, Merlin Leik; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Leik, Yorkana; four sisters, Emma Leik, York; Mrs. Anna Dellinger, Yorkana; Mrs. Ellen Boeckel, York; Mrs. Harry Why, Yorkana; and two brothers, Edward Leik and Andrew Leik, both of Yorkana. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock. Following a short service at the house the body will be removed to the United Evangelical church, Yorkana, where further services will be held, conducted by Rev. Dr. J.D. Shortess, pastor of the Grace United Evangelical church, York. Interment will be made in the United Evangelical cemetery, Yorkana."

"DIES AT YORKANA

Yorkana, July 17. - David Andrew Leik, died at his residence here at 5:15 p.m. Saturday. Death was caused by a pulmonary disease and followed an illness of a year. He was aged 48 years, eight months and nine days.

Besides his widow, Mr. Leik leaves five children, Morgan, Charles and Nelson, at home; Mrs. Walter Kline, Delroy, and Mrs. Ernie Keller, this place; one brother, Edward Leik, here; four sisters, Mrs. George Dellinger, here; Mrs. George Light and Mrs. Bethel Dechl, York; Mrs. Harry Why, here, and three grandchildren.

Mr. Leik was employed for many years in the Yorkana glass factory, where he was a foreman at the time of his death.

The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the house. Concluding services will be held in the Yorkana ____ ____ church, of which he was a member. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Rev. B.G. Hoffma, the pastor, will officiate. Funeral Director G.W. Anstine, East Prospect, is in charge of the funeral."

Shindler and Son company funeal home, 915 North Duke street. The funeral will be held from the home of the deceased 's daughter. Mrs. Samuel I. George, 110 West Jackson street, Saturday January 15, at 2 p.m. with brief services at the house. Interment will be in Yorkana cemetery."
