Miller at Wilkes Barre, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, on 18 September 1845. He married Mary Doremus at Baltimore, Baltimore Co., Maryland, on 1 May 1869. He married Joanna Williamson at Washington, District of Columbia, on 17 June 1879. Daniel died on 6 February 1907 at Washington, District of Columbia, at age 83. His body was interred on 8 February 1907 at Washington, District of Columbia.
