Sleitweiler Dolores Ann Sleitweiler, 67, Topeka, died Jan. 28, 2004, at a Topeka hospital. She was bom Aug. 26, 1936, in Circleville, the daughter of Robert Lynn and Elsie Irene Armstrong Hopkins. Mrs. Sletweiler lived most of her life in the Topeka community, where she had worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Colmery-O'Neil V.A. Hospital in Topeka for 25 years. She retired in 2001. She married William "Bill" Anderson in 1951 in Topeka. They were later divorced. She married Phil Sleitweiler in 1979. He died May 12, 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Donna J. Anderson, Topeka; two sons, Bradley B. Anderson, Lenexa, and David E. Anderson, Topeka; a sister, Roberta Boren, Wichita; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 3 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. She will lie in state at the funeral home, where family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 2. |
