Pearl Irene Bair is the daughter of Timothy Monroe Bair and Bessie Bell King. She was born 14 July 1911 in Whitley county, Indiana. She died 14 May 1999 at age 87 in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. On 17 May 1999, she was buried at Eberhard Cemetery, Columbia, Whitley, Indiana.

On 5 April 1933, she married Ellis George Cox in Whitley county, Indiana. He is the son of George Cox and Myrtle and the brother of Weldon DeWitt Cox who married Pearl's sister Opal. He was born 22 February 1911 in Collamer, Whitley, Indiana. He died 13 February 1997 at age 85 in Whitley county, Indiana. On 15 February 1997, he was buried at Eberhard Cemetery, Columbia, Whitley, Indiana.
