It is likely that Jacob Richter was the son of Hans Richter and Katherina Seyler. He was born about 1575 in Nassau-Siegen, Germany, and in 1609 he was listed as living in Siegen, Germany. It is possible that he died about 1662 at Loehrstrasse, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.
Jacob married a woman named Anna Maria (last name uknown). She was also born about 1575.
They had at least 3 sons:
1. Tillmann Richter, born about 1600 in Siegen, Germany. Died about 1665.
2. Johannes Richter, born 1605 in Siegen, Germany. He married Anna Nee (?) in 1632.
3. Johann Jacob Richter
