Postmaster's Response

30 June 1877

The postmaster at Tazewell refers the Pension Office to Jonathan Walker, the postmaster at Nave Hill, and to John Walker. His references are to grandchildren Johnathan and John Gilmore Walker, sons of Edward Walker, Jr., despite naming them as sons of Edward, Sr.
