Hi Ken, I think your web-site is great! I enjoyed reviewing it! I did find an error on one of Willis Dock Bond's sons, Willis Franklin Bond, b. 1843. His wife's name is Permelia Elizabeth James , not Permelia Crider. My mom found this same error in the book: History of Franklin County Ga., by Anna Belle Little Tabor. Permelia James was my mom's grandmother. There is a correction on this in the addendum at the back of the Tabor book, page 10, top line. Permelia's parents were Sherwood "Sherard" James and Elizabeth Cromer, ( Possibly Susannah Elizabeth Cromer ). Sherard served in the C.S.A., he died of fever and is buried Vicksburg, Miss., grave # 1051. He died April 29, 1863. I have a date for their marriage as May 02, 1853. He was in K52 Co. Ga. I believe "Sherard" was the son of William "Bucky" James, buried in the Bucky James Cemetery near the Sandy Cross area near Royston, Ga. I believe Bucky's father was Sherwood James. "Sherard's" mother may have been Permelia ( Fowler) James. Her father may have been John Fowler and her mother may have been Catherine. This is about all I have now. I have not proved this info myself, but this is what I have found and been told. Let me know what you think. Jerry Bennett.
