Obituary*18 August 2006 Nell Jo Miller Culpepper, 73, of Marietta, passed away on August 16 at Tranquility Wellstar Community Hospice in Austell, GA following a prolonged illness. She formerly resided at 332 N. Fairground St. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Martha Miller of Fort Payne, AL.
     Service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Doug Hines officiating. Interment will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
     She lived in Marietta, GA for 53 years. Mrs. Culpepper, a loving wife and mother, owned her own beauty salon for many years and spent most of her life taking care of her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock.
     She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James I. Culpepper and three children, James I. "Jim", Jr. and Judy Culpepper of Woodstock, GA, Rebecca and Johnny Dunn of Marietta, GA and Wanda and Dudley Gulledge of Brandon, FL; eleven grandchildren, Chesley Gulledge, James Harley Gulledge, Carrie Ciofalo, Chris Dunn, Chad Dunn, Holly Dunn, Adam Culpepper, Andrew Culpepper, Alan Culpepper, Tripp Taylor, and Lane Taylor; four great grandchildren, Dudley Gunner Gulledge, Jade Ciofalo, Caison Dunn, Karaline Dunn; two sisters, Polly Eberhart and Barbara Hill, both of Marietta.
     In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tranquility Wellstar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.2 
Burial*19 August 2006 Her body was interred on 19 August 2006 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta, Cobb Co., Georgia.2
