General Notes:
Uncle Carl McEwen moved to the King ranch on the Clear Fork of the Brazos with his daughter Allene (sp) and granddaughter Grace Marie. We do not yet (as of 2002) know the names of Carl's first wife or the name of Allene's husband.
Carl and Ruby were married following Henry C.'s death in 1944.
Events:
• Marriage Contract. Uncle Carl married my step-grandmother after Henry died. Henry and Carl are buried at Hawley, TX, side-by-side.
Carl married Charlotte LONG.
Carl also married Ruby REAMES, daughter of W. E. REAMS and Anne (Annie) TILLEY, in 1944. (Ruby REAMES was born on 25 Feb 1905 and died on 15 Apr 1990.)
