CANNEY

Thomas Canney was born in 1609 at Okehampton, England. We find him at Portsmouth in 1631 and was sent to this country by Mason the Patantee. In 1644 he was at Dover, New Hampshire Thomas married Mary Loame (b.abt 1613). Their daughter Mary Canney was born in 1637, died July 2, 1706 in Dover, Strafford, New Hampshire. Mary married Jeremy Tibbits,(son of Ephraim) in 1654 at Dover.
