Winters, Howard L., 77, of Rd 2, Valley Grove, WV died Friday, February 18, 2005 in the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
He was born February 25, 1927 in Elm Grove the son of the late Cora Belle Winters.
Mr. Winters was a retired bus driver and plumber with the Ohio County School Board of Education. He also was owner /operator of the Winter-Ayr Farm with his son, Louis.
He was a member of the West Alexander Presbyterian Church, West Alexander, Pa where he was a past trustee and elder and a member of the board of directors at the West Alexander Fair.
Surviving are his wife, P. Elaine Schilling Winters; four children, H. Louis Winters of Valley Grove, Janet Deitt and her husband, Marshall of Valley Grove, David D. Winters and his wife, Mary Lee of Salisbury, Md and Paul J. Winters and his wife, Linda of Valley Grove and six grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Winters, Erin and Cullen Winters and Marshall and Jarrett Deitt.
Friends received on Sunday, February 20,
2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p m at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St, Wheeling. Friends then received from 12:30 p m until time of service at
2 p m Monday, February 21, 2005 at the West Alexander Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Jeri-Lynne Bouterse officiating. Interment in West Alexander Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Alexander Presbyterian Church, Main St., West Alexander, Pa 15376.

MRS. CORA BELL WINTERS
Mrs. Cora Bell Winters, 48, of West Alexander, died in Hillsview
Sanitarium Saturday, March 29, 1941, at 6 a.m.
A daughter of James and Elizabeth McConhan, Mrs. Winters was born July 27,
1893, at West Alexander, where she spent her entire life. She was a member
of the West Alexander Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Howard, of West Alexander; three brothers, Harry,
Dallas, W.Va.; George, Elm Grove, W.Va.; Frank, of Washington, and a
sister, Mrs. Hattie Rizor, of Ashtabula, O. Two brothers and a sister are
deceased.
Funeral services will be held in the Dunlap Funeral Home, West Alexander,
today at 2 p.m., in charge of the Rev. Home_ _mith, pastor of the West
Alexander Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. W.D. Mercer, of the West
Alexander U.P. Church. Burial will be in West Alexander Cemetery.
