     Jonathan Catlett GIBSON II, son of Jonathan Catlett GIBSON and (?) Longhorne, was born circa 1740 in Virginia.

Jonathan married Susannah HARRISON, daughter of Thomas HARRISON and Ann Grayson, circa 1760 in Virginia.1 He was a very wealthy planter in Fauquier County, Virginia. He was assessed for thirty slaves.2

Jonathan Catlett GIBSON II was named an heir in the will of Thomas HARRISON dated 25 January 1774 in Fauquier County, Virginia.2

Jonathan left a will dated 22 July 1788 in Fauquier County, Virginia. The will names his three youngest children: Jonathon Catlett Gibson, Susann Grayson Gibson, and Mary Gibson. It also names sons Thomas and John Gibson, daughter Ann Grayson Blackwell, niece Margaret Adie, grand daughters Margaret Catlett Gibson and unnamed child of Ann Grayson (Gibson) Blackwell. Executors were Benjamin Harrison and sons, Thomas, John and Jonathon Gibson. Witnesses were John Mauzey and Matthew Harrison, Jr. It was recorded 26 Sep 1791.3
