     James M. ABNEY, son of John ABNEY III, was born on 24 May 1824 in Estill County, Kentucky.1

During the Civil War, James M. ABNEY enlisted in Company C, 11th Regiment Missouri State Militia Cavalry in 1862 in Springfileld, Missouri.1

James M. ABNEY died on 29 January 1915 in Jasper County, Missouri, at age 90.1 He was buried in Seaton Cemetery, Walnut Shade, Taney County, Missouri.1
